Ministry announces extra higher education places for September, using tools developed during coronavirus pandemic
France’s ministry of higher education and research has revealed that eight out of 10 school students who registered with the online Parcoursup application system have received a proposal for admission in 2020.
Most of those who have been offered a place at university have already completed the registration process, the ministry said. To cope with an increase in A-level equivalents, the government has promised to create 4,000 new bachelor’s degree places in high-demand areas, notably healthcare.
