French national funder invests in life sciences body supporting niche market applications
France’s National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) has taken a stake in Idylle, an outfit that funds technology transfer of life sciences applications that are too small to attract traditional venture capital.
Idylle, which is supported under the French government’s PIA future investments programme, funds design, production, logistics and sales operations from the laboratory to the customer. The move follows two years of collaboration between Idylle and the CNRS.
