University chiefs in France say that gains from LPR law have been counteracted by inflation

The government should ramp up the pay increases and human resources measures included in its LPR research planning law, France’s association of university presidents has said.

In a statement, France Universités said it welcomed the progress on pay and career prospects for academics that had been made since the LPR was passed in 2020.
