‘Growing concern’ over cost of living for French students

Historically high living costs reported, with year-on-year rise of 9 per cent

An association of French student unions has expressed “growing concern” about the costs of living for students, which it reported have reached a “historic” high.

The National Federation of Students’ Associations (Fage) said in a report released on 16 August that French students face a 9 per cent increase in living expenses for the 2023-24 academic year compared with the previous one.
