Bavaria wins €26m for interregional projects

The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Germany’s largest public research funder, will spend €26 million euros on four research projects in Bavaria, it was announced on 23 November.

The money will go to two existing projects, which have been extended for four years, and two new projects. The funding comes from the DFG’s special research fund Transregio, which funds interregional projects on large-scale scientific problems.
