Energy researcher wins €100,000 prize

A member of Germany’s academy of sciences, Leopoldina, has won a €100,000 prize for his work on energy research.

The prize was awarded in Hamburg by the Helmut and Hannelore Greve Foundation, a charitable research foundation. Ferdi Schüth received the prize for research that combined chemistry and energy research to improve biofuels.
