Women engineers on the rise in Baden-Württemberg

The percentage of women engineers in Baden-Württemberg’s workforce is up 66 per cent since 2000, according to a government survey.

The Land’s government said on 9 November that around 12 per cent of engineers working in Baden-Württemberg were women. Theresia Bauer, the Land’s research minister, said this number was still too low, but it was good to see that it was improving.
