A research centre working on heart and circulation problems was established in Berlin on 12 December.
The centre, which will have bases in seven cities around Germany, unites 25 partners in research on preventing and treating cardiovascular problems. The centre is one of six German centres of health research funded by the German research ministry to improve the prevention and treatment of common health problems.
