DFG funds seven research groups

The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Germany’s largest public research funder, has established seven research groups, which will receive around €14.2 million euros over the next three years.

The groups will study a range of subjects, including alcohol addiction, engineering, hearing aids and European studies. DFG research groups are launched in specific research fields, and give groups of researchers a chance to carry out in-depth, long term investigations.
