Saarland deepens research ties with South Korea

The Saarland says it has strengthened scientific and technological relations with South Korea as a result of a visit to Seoul by a delegation of government officials that ended on 5 December.

Peter Hauptmann, the Saarland’s research secretary, said his trip to South Korea, accompanied by a delegation of industry representatives and academies, had deepened bilateral relations. He said that important contacts had been made, especially in medical technology and pharmaceutical research.
