Darmstadt science complex opens doors

A building complex to house 1,800 students and 175 professors for the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences was opened on 19 January after two years’ construction.

The building provides room for the university’s maths, life sciences and information technology departments, as well as several engineering departments. The €50 million construction cost was provided by Hesse’s higher education investment programme.
