The science minister of North Rhine-Westphalia has developed an agreement with local higher education institutions to improve research and teaching.
The agreement, which is to be signed with various institutions on 18 and 19 January, sets out a mutual commitment to boost higher education by consistent funding and long-term planning. The aim of the agreement is to make higher education more accessible and more competitive, and increase quality.
