Prize aims to help balance teaching with research

Hesse is taking applications for its annual prize for excellence in teaching, set up in response to the establishment of a variety of similar prizes.

The total value of the prize will be €325,000 this year, but the money is to be split between several winners. The highest prize will be for a working group that has improved teaching at its university, and will be worth €130,000.
