Max Planck Prize goes to law and economics researchers

One of Germany’s most prestigious research prizes, the Max Planck Prize, will be awarded on 11 October to two scientists, a law researcher from the Columbia University Law School in the US and an economist based at a Bonn Max Planck Institute.

Katharina Pistor and Martin Hellwig will each receive €750,000. The award is for outstanding research in either the life and physical sciences or the social sciences, arts and humanities.
