A Bavarian initiative to increase the number of science, maths and technology students will be continued after the Land’s research ministry and industry said it had been successful.
The MINT initiative, an abbreviation of the German words for maths, computer science, life sciences and technology, was funded by the Bavarian research ministry for the past three years with just over €2 million. The initiative has come to an end, but together with industry partners the ministry gave it a positive assessment.
