A commission on the structure of higher education in Brandenburg has asked the Europe University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder to close down its research institute for “Transcultural Health Sciences”.
The Transcultural Health Sciences institute has come under fire repeatedly over the past months after issuing a master’s degree in clairvoyance, and for courses in non-traditional medicine such as Ayurveda. The institute is funded by Biologische Heilmittel Heel GmbH, Germany’s largest producer of homeopathic medicines.
