A researcher in public law has received the Ars Legendi prize for law research, which was awarded for the first time this year by the Stifterverband, a group of Germany’s public research funders.
Julian Krüper, who is based at the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf, received the €15,000-prize for his interdisciplinary teaching and development of individual teaching formats, the Stifterverband said. “Krüper embodies the ideal of a scientist with special interest and engagement in teaching,” said Bettina Jorzik, a Stifterverband member and member of the prize jury.
