A group of eight universities has been selected for the Stifterverband’s first-ever diversity certificate, which is awarded to higher education institutions with a diverse student body.
The Stifterverband, an association of German research funders, aims to support and honour diverse institutions through the award, which is part of the institution’s diversity audit. The audit was introduced this year to monitor diversity in age, race, gender and religion in Germany’s student population.
