Ansbach prepares for student influx

The university of applied science in Ansbach has opened an €8.6 million extension, built to cope with growing student numbers at the institution.

The university, launched in 1996, has 2,500 students this year, making it necessary to expand its teaching facilities. Wolfgang Heubisch, the Bavarian science minister, said the larger buildings should also help raise the institution’s profile.
