International graduate numbers on the rise

The number of international graduates in Germany has increased by 8 per cent in the past year, according to the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

About a third of non-EU graduates in Germany stay on to work in the country, said the DAAD. Even those who leave the country maintain strong ties to Germany, leading to increased knowledge exchange and research collaboration, it added in a statement.
