Baden-Württemberg is to fund two PhD colleges at universities for teaching research in the Land, it was announced on 10 January.
The colleges will offer PhD students a chance to participate in research on teaching and education, and improve the quality of their final work, said Theresia Bauer, the Land’s research minister. The two colleges, at the universities of Freiburg and Heidelberg, will start their work in March, she said.
