Two German ministries have teamed up to fund research into improving the energy grid with a total of €150 million.
The business and technology ministry and the environment ministry will work together on research and innovation activities to make the energy grid more sustainable. The research will also cover alternative energy sources and energy mix to ensure that power stays affordable, the ministries said in a joint statement.
