EU Investment Fund signs SME loan deal with Deutsche Bank

The European Investment Fund has teamed up with Deutsche Bank to create a risk-sharing fund that will fund R&D and expansion among small and medium-sized businesses.

The fund, agreement for which was signed on 18 February, will provide a total of €120 million in loans to SMEs that want to embark on risky projects. Deutsche Bank and the EIF will each take on 50 per cent of the financing.
