Prize fund for universities aims to improve international ties

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation has launched a prize fund to encourage universities to develop more long-lasting relationships with their alumni and previous guest researchers.

The money is intended to help universities strengthen their scientific ties to other countries and to increase research collaboration. The foundation says it has €300,000 at its disposal for the programme. The pot will be split between the 10 best projects.
