The German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) has questioned candidates for the federal parliamentary elections about their plans for higher education and research.
The parties have been asked, among other questions, how they propose to make universities fit for competition against other research organisations, how the federal government could improve prospects for young scientists, and what measures could boost the international profile of German universities.
