The Volkswagen Foundation has awarded €3.5 million to 10 research museums to improve their exhibitions and research activities.
The money will fund projects that use the museums’ stock to better understand the historic, biological and technological processes that the museums cover. Some of the funding will also be used to improve the way historic or scientific material is presented, to make it easier for visitors to understand.
