Munich, Lüneburg and Leipzig have the best universities in Germany when it comes to encouraging students to start their own businesses, according to a study by the Stifterverband.
The Technical University of Munich, Lüneburg University and the Leipzig Graduate School of Management have excellent systems in place to teach students about innovation and business management and help them to get start-up investment, the study found.
The universities also work hard to make sure their staff spot the business potential of the work produced by students and early-career researchers, the Stifterverband, an association of German funders, said.
