The German government has allocated €150 million to building up medical data infrastructure in a bid to improve diagnostics and treatment through data sharing.
The government’s aim is to create a national network of medical data for use by doctors and health researchers. Data such as X-ray images, DNA analyses and lifestyle information will be included in the initiative.
