Parents working for the Max Planck association will receive help from a fund targeted at researchers who need to finish crucial projects.
Worth €500,000, the fund will offer the parents of young children a monthly contribution to childcare costs for three to ten months. Its goal is to allow researchers to finish important projects, such as PhD theses and postdoc projects, without the added worry of childcare.
