A life scientist who applied to the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft using plagiarised material has received a written warning, the funder has said.
The DFG, Germany’s largest public research funder, announced on 6 July that its committee on scientific misconduct had decided to issue the researcher with a written warning, which the committee felt was appropriate as it was the researcher’s first offence.
