Leibniz Association updates code of conduct

Common set of standards spreads responsibility for good practice across all institutes

At its general assembly on 28 November in Berlin, the Leibniz Association updated its guidelines on good scientific practice in order to make them apply to all its institutes.

The general assembly adopted a code of conduct “Guiding Principles for Our Actions in the Leibniz Association” and updated its “Guideline for Ensuring Good Scientific Practice”. The guidelines address aspects such as ethical responsibility, career advancement diversity, culture of criticism and transparency across the entire organisation.
