Advisory panel welcomes blueprint for new technical university but has some reservations

Germany’s leading advisory body on science policy, the Science Council, has given its approval to restructuring plans for the new Technical University of Nuremberg, but found fault in some of the details.

Those plans will give TU Nuremberg a radically different organisational structure to that of existing German technical universities. The institution is currently in its planning phase, with teaching and research operations due to begin within 10 years.
