German exchange service concerned for the safety of scholars it supports
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has said it is shocked by the attacks on Israel by Hamas and Hezbollah.
On 7 October, the Palestinian militant group Hamas launched a large-scale attack on Israel, killing hundreds of civilians. Hezbollah, a Lebanese militant group, has since also been firing on Israel.
