Institutes for Advanced Study seek higher profile

Network of institutes says its centres make a significant contribution to diversity in German research

Germany’s network of Institutes for Advanced Study is seeking to raise its public profile.

The network was established in 2022 and is made up of 24 centres based at universities throughout Germany. Following a meeting in early October at the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg, at the University of Erfurt, its members agreed to launch a campaign to make its work better known to the public, policymakers and fellow academic organisations.
