DFG unveils projects in research funding pilot

Novel funding stream will offer support for five years

Germany’s largest public research funder, the German Research Foundation (DFG), is establishing its first 10 ‘research impulses’, or FIPs, at universities of applied sciences.

This new funding instrument will run for an initial five years and aims to strengthen the research potential of this group of universities, a DFG statement said.
