More funding offered to applied science universities

GWK hails long-term support for industry-academia collaborations in Germany

Germany’s federal and state governments will provide up to €500 million in research funding research for the universities of applied sciences, the Joint Science Conference, GWK, has announced.

The GWK, which functions as a coordinating body on science policy between the central and regional governments, said this “significant increase” on the previous programme will run for seven years.
