Scheme to improve research infrastructure offers €533 million a year
A competition to select more universities and alliances for the German government’s Excellence Strategy has been launched by the German Science and Humanities Council (WR) and the German Research Foundation (DFG).
Funding for up to four new centres of excellence will be awarded exclusively on the basis of science-led criteria, said a statement from the two organisations.
