Scheme offers €45.5 million for collaborative research projects

Lower Saxony and the Volkswagen Foundation have announced the winners of a €45.5 million funding programme to support cooperative research between universities in Lower Saxony and non-university institutions.

A panel headed by the Volkswagen Foundation recommended the best 16 projects from 47 applications for funding from the Science Spaces scheme, according to a joint statement from the two partners. They involve several universities including the University of Göttingen (pictured).
