Germany appears to take pragmatic approach to AI

Academic institutions say use of generative models in research work should not be ruled out

Germany’s governmental and academic bodies have been focusing over the past year on the opportunities and risks that artificial intelligence can bring to research.

Overall, a consensus has emerged that widespread adoption of the technology is inevitable and so institutions should take a realistic approach in managing the resulting changes.
