Horizon 2020 allocates €70.5m to space research

Horizon 2020 is welcoming proposals for space research, to be funded with €70.5 million.

This funding will come from the Industrial Leadership pillar of Horizon 2020 and will be distributed in three calls, opened until 8 April, the European Commission has announced. The three calls will be managed by the Research Executive Agency.

The first call, funded with €25 million, aims to support projects to develop products and applications based on data from the Copernicus programme.
