Poland sets Horizon 2020 goal

Poland wants to win at least €1.5 billion from Horizon 2020, according to the country's science minister.

Poland’s minister for science and higher education, Jacek Guliński, has said during a government debate that the country’s plan to up its Horizon 2020 winnings is an “ambitious but attainable” target.

"2014-2020 should be a good time for Polish science and higher education, at least from the point of view of access to funds," he said, according to an article published by the ministry of science and higher education on a government news website.
