Assembly members to provide additional expertise for planning R&D missions
The European Commission has appointed people to serve as advisers in “assembly” groups for the five missions it intends to launch under the EU’s next R&D programme, which it hopes will increase the programme’s impact and public support.
Assemblies of between 22 and 30 people will function as additional advisory bodies alongside the boards that have been tasked with identifying specific targets for the missions, according to several board members who spoke to Research Professional News.
