ERC to tweak assessment process for Horizon Europe

Changes to panels designed to keep pace with shifts in science

The European Research Council has said it intends to make minor changes to its processes for assessing project proposals in the early years of the EU’s 2021-27 R&D programme Horizon Europe.

Some of the changes are intended to spread the assessment workload more evenly among the ERC’s evaluation panels, the funder said in a press release on 17 December.
