EU’s innovation institute hikes spending in 2020

EIT plans to spend over €500m next year

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology has said it will hike its spending in 2020, as it channels €540 million to projects including climate change, sustainable energy and materials.

In an announcement on 4 December the EIT said it would increase its spending from €475m in 2019 as it continues to support its Knowledge and Innovation Communities in eight areas.
