University heads mulling future alliances in Africa and Asia for pilot scheme
Less than a month after the EU’s highly anticipated European Universities Initiative kicked off, research heads are already pushing to make future alliances even more international.
A pilot round of the scheme in June awarded €85m over three years to 17 networks, supporting collaboration via joint programmes and mobility schemes between 114 institutions from 24 EU member states.
