EU R&D programme should stick to reimbursing hourly rates, research groups say
The European University Association and European Association of Research and Technology Organisations have both called for the EU’s R&D programme to keep its current system of reimbursing personnel costs.
Earto and the EUA were responding to a proposal from the European Commission that would change hourly rates to daily ones for researchers and administrators under the EU’s Model Grant Agreement from 2021.
