The souped-up version of the European Innovation Council pilot continues, with €33 million paid out to projects under its Fast Track to Innovation stream.
The EIC pilot was launched in October 2017, using funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme to help bring innovations to market, and then expanded at the beginning of 2019. Some €300m has been allocated for the fast-track stream for 2018-20.
In a press release on 25 April, the European Commission said 13 projects would receive around €2m each to get mature innovations market-ready.
