The European Commission has started publishing draft 2020 work plans for the various funding schemes in the EU’s Horizon 2020 R&D programme.
Draft work programmes have now been released for ICT, advanced materials and manufacturing, health, energy, Future and Emerging Technologies and the European Innovation Council. These provide an overview of the funding calls that will be launched during the year.
The drafts are made available to give R&D organisations an insight into what they should expect from the final work programmes. The Commission has proposed an overall Horizon 2020 budget for 2020, the final year of the programme, but this has yet to be considered by the European Parliament or the Council of the EU.
