MEPs worried about missions

   

Budget, scope and concrete results among top concerns

MEPs have said they are “worried” about the much-hyped missions being introduced to the EU’s 2021-27 R&D programme, Horizon Europe.

Board members from two of the five missions, which are being introduced to increase the R&D programme’s impact and public support, presented their progress and plans at a meeting of the European Parliament’s research committee on 23 January. They were questioned on the feasibility of the plans by MEPs.
