Andrzej Jajszczyk and Nektarios Tavernarakis to lead physical and life sciences for EU funder
The European Research Council’s oversight body has selected two of its members to lead on physical and life sciences at a tricky time for the hugely prestigious funder.
Andrzej Jajszczyk and Nektarios Tavernarakis will begin their terms on 1 January as vice-presidents for physical and engineering sciences, and for life sciences, respectively, the ERC announced on 9 November. They join current vice-president Eveline Crone, who oversees social sciences and humanities.
